What’s your fuel guage telling you?

(Don’t wait until you’re hungry to "fill up"!)

You know how much we advocate 3 nutritious meals a day and 2 nutritious snacks. The reason is to help keep your metabolism going.


Not only that, eating regularly helps your body function, your brain function and provides the energy you need to get through the day. Food is literally your fuel!

Let’s put it this way, how many of you wait until you’re on the cusp of empty before you fill up your car?
You probably don’t!

Your body is the same. You need to keep topped up to keep going. Waiting until you are hungry can lead to ‘dire’ consequences. This is when overeating is most likely to happen. This is when only the high fat, high sugary foods will do.

Your metabolism can start to slow down when it’s not being fuelled regularly. You’ll start to not notice the signs from your body telling you it needs nutrition. You can start to lose concentration, get headaches, dizziness, irritability, sleep issues, the list is endless.

So how to combat all of this? Keep eating your nutritious meals and snacks and don’t always wait until you are hungry, don’t wait until the signs are there!

To keep the car going you need to keep the fuel in the car. Your body is the same.
