The story you tell yourself…

Needs to match how epic exercise makes you feel!

Coach Sall

Take these words…

Our chart that’s up in the gym tells us all that the three most valued benefits of working out are:

I want to switch my mind off

I want to feel less stressed

I want to do more things and feel less lazy

How you FEEL is so important, yet we are not taught to expect it to feel good to move our bodies. Exercise seems permanently positioned as something you do to lose weight, make yourself smaller, make less of you. So many women have had bad (even terrible) experiences of exercise in the past, they would never believe that exercise would make them feel less stressed. Yet, in the right place, with the right company, that’s how you feel.

We have women walking out of the door all day feeling better than when they walked in, and if that’s you, then that’s something to celebrate, well done!

Take these words as motivation for future workouts. Think about how good it feels to move your body, how amazing your body is that no matter what you’ve been through when you ask it to move, pull, push, faster or harder, it does! Think about how freeing it is, to exercise in a safe place, among like-minded women all just moving and Strengthening their bodies and minds for the benefit of their future selves, for tomorrow, for next month and next year.

Your motivation lies in your stories – workout to have fun, workout to destress, workout so it’s the hardest part of your day, workout so you WIN the day, tell yourself the story that gets you moving, the one that matches the epic outcome of how you feel afterwards, that will make sure you come back for more!
