The Chocolate is NOT the Problem
Coach Sall
I wanted to put a little word of perspective out there this weekend.
I’m going to assume there’s a chance you may eat more chocolate than normal this weekend, maybe not, but just in case you do…
You don’t need to (nor can you) “burn it off” or “make up for it” next week.
It just doesn’t work like that.
The chocolate is not the problem. You do not need to punish yourself, or your body for the chocolate. You don’t need to feel guilty about it.
📣 You have been lied to about this.
In fact, your body is way cleverer than you think and it doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about the chocolate, and it definitely doesn’t care about your efforts to counteract whatever you’ve been led to believe chocolate does to you.
What your body does care about is being well watered, well rested, well exercised and well nourished.
It cares about being physically and emotionally safe.
It likes you to be happy and exposed to natural light each day.
It likes to be moved, a LOT.
It likes to be appreciated and nurtured, as if it was the most important thing in your life, as if it is the very thing that gives you life.
So don’t worry about the chocolate!
Enjoy your weekend, because finding joy (without guilt) in what you do is one of the most important things you can do for your health and your fitness sanity.
