Celebrate What Your Body Can Do

Coach Sall

As we start our week of Coaching & Accountability sessions it made me think about all the women I have coached over the years, and all the times I’ve celebrated their progress (that they couldn’t see), discussed their measurements (that they were disappointed with NO MATTER what they were), and set new goals (that fled their minds as soon as they stepped outside the door because of all the demands on their bandwidth)

What was the common theme? (Other than women trying to conform to society’s demands to be smaller, quieter and sacrifice themselves for everyone else while also being and doing more of course!)

All too often we let perfectionism interfere with our consistency.

Whether we’re talking workouts, affirmations, journaling, eating nutritionally or getting your Coaching & Accountability sessions with your Coach.

Consistency = Feedback.

It’s just data.

You can’t get useful data from 1 workout, 1 set of measurements or 1 Coaching & Accountability session with your Coach.

Our members that do really well are the ones that get their Coaching & Accountability every month, and really do celebrate with the Coaches even the smallest of victories (it starts with showing up, because nothing happens unless you do!).

Even if you have to grasp for the smallest of wins, you are flexing your consistency muscle and keeping perfectionism at bay.

As you practice celebrating small steps, your subconscious starts to program itself to look for opportunities for more wins, you start making different choices, ones that align with your goals.

Your Coaching & Accountability sessions aren’t a name and shame of what you didn’t do, they’re a celebration of what your body CAN do!

You took that step through our doors to get Stronger, fitter and healthier.

Don’t lose sight of what you have you achieved so far when you are looking at where you are now. Don’t let perfectionism (or simply high expectation) interfere with your consistency muscle.

Spend time with a Coach and start collecting useful feedback 😊

Pat is always happy to have her Coaching & Accountability each month as it reminds her of all the things she achieves each month through her Strength Training at Curves, some of which don’t show up on a scale or a tape measure!
