“F” words!

Coach Sall

It’s not win, or lose

I can’t tell you how often we, as Coaches, have to deal with “F” words…. It starts with the first F.

Feelings

Usually connected to the other F in our lives.

Failure.

Here’s another one to add to your daily “F” word use.

Facts.

I have some Facts to dispel your Feelings of Failure, (and some more “F” words, and even a good “C” word 😉)

Results can be unpredictable - if you don’t get the results you wanted, it’s not a Fail, don’t let the Feelings overwhelm you. Deal with the Facts. What did you do? What didn’t you manage to do? How can that be different next month, next week, tomorrow and most importantly today?

This is not a test - You can’t fail at weight loss and you can’t fail at getting fit. Both are Consequences of your actions, that you take every day.

Not doing is not failing - it’s not doing. You don’t fail at things you don’t do. I don’t sky dive, I haven’t failed at it, I just didn’t do it.

This is not a Finite game - it is INfinite, there is no Finish line. This is why we have members at Curves that have been coming for years, this is why all your Coaches continue to get their workouts.

Focus on today – it helps you to spot opportunities that present themselves every day, and enjoy the Feeling of ticking off each action, each step you take.

So, let go of the outcome, because what counts, is the daily care of ourselves, our mental health and our physical health. It never ends, it becomes who we are, it becomes its own reason.
