Have You Got Margins?
Coach Sall
Last week Dannii and I released a podcast episode about all the reasons to workout that aren’t about how you look or how much you weigh, and we have had a TONNE of feedback on it (thank you so much!).
It seems there were a lot of you ready to hear it. (If you missed it you can listen by clicking here)
One of the most important reasons to workout is so you can handle whatever life throws at you. And I mean, anything.
Do you know what the most common reason for quitting the gym is?
Life. Just, life.
Life gets in the way, or big life events happen that knock us off.
But, after 14 years of experience this is what I’ve noticed. Not everyone quits. Some people just keep right on coming. Some people have a week or so off and get back into it as soon as they possibly can.
What’s the difference between those that carry on and those that quit?
It’s whether they view their workouts as making them Stronger.
Once you get there 👆, you’ll be through that door pretty much through anything.
Because then you realise, you’re not sacrificing anyone or anything to come to the gym.
You realise that if you’ll do anything for your family, then making yourself Stronger is IT.
If you want to be able to cope with anything and everything, then being Stronger than you think you need to be gives you a margin of safety.
So when something unexpected happens, you can handle it.
