It takes 1 day to decide YOU are enough…

“It takes 4 weeks for you to notice a change, it takes 8 weeks for your friends to notice, it takes 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice but it takes one day to decide that you are enough”

The point being of this quote is that physical change isn’t a quick process, it takes time, but the mental change can be as quick as you want it to be, whether that’s a day or a week. Telling yourself you’re going to lose a certain amount of weight and setting goals sounds like a good plan, but if you’re not going to mentally prepare and build up that motivation, the goals aren’t going to be achieved, and they stay just goals – no outcome.

I think the first part of that quote is also relatable for us all. When we first start changing our diet, exercising etc we want to wake up the next day and see instant results, but it just doesn’t happen like that. This can then cause us to be demotivated and think there is no point – but trust me there is! If you’re feeling like you’re not getting anywhere, just give it time because it will all be worth it in the end and there’s no better feelings than checking off those goals!
