No one can tell us what to think or how to act.

Be in control

One thing that is brilliant about being human is that we are in control of our thoughts, opinions and our actions. No one can tell us what to think or how to act. Ultimately, that is down to you. 

So don’t let these ‘outsiders’ hinder your actions and thoughts to be successful in your fitness journey. 

Yes, you can source help and support from professionals in regards to exercise, nutritional eating, your health, but even then it is down to you to take the appropriate action. Even the professionals can only do so much in helping you achieve what you want to achieve. 

So what to do? Make the choices. Make the changes. Act on them and be in control of it all.

Remind yourself why it is important and why you want it. If that why doesn’t make you jump out of your seat and get going, then maybe it’s time to think. To really ask yourself what is important you right now.

Keep asking yourself why until you feel the need to jump up and get going.

Let your thoughts reflect the actions. Put actions in place that make your thoughts positive.

It all works hand in hand and it is down to YOU to take control and not let others take the control for you.
