The Poster in our Changing Room
Coach Sall
Wow, I had a tonne of replies to my email last week. Thank you to everyone who shared their own advice with me.
I wanted to give you all shout out you know, because, taking your own advice… man that can be really hard! Let’s be honest, it’s much easier to spot what others should do and overcome their reasons excuses than it is our own.
While I would love for you all to make that one change that I believe could change EVERYTHING this week it probably doesn’t feel that easy.
So, I’m going to encourage you all to take a second and read the words that Kaz shared on the notice board in the changing room (I’ve included it below for you).
Taking your own advice isn’t about being critical or hard on yourself.
It’s bridging the gap between knowing and doing.
It’s like being the fly that bats against a part-open window trying to get out when if they would only fly 5cm to the right they’d be out the gap.
Most importantly it’s about realising that the power is within YOU. It’s understanding that you have everything you need to give yourself the opportunity to achieve your goals.
Again, for those at the back today… The power is within you, you have everything you need to do give yourself the opportunity to achieve your goals
